A large-scale chromosomal rearrangement heeled the whole-genome duplication in rice genome
In this study, we constructed the phylogenomic tree of rice genome based on new 12 pseudomoleculars of rice chromosomes by TIGR and identify at least two large-scale chromosomal rearrangement events ( chromosomal fusion / fission / translocation ). Further comparative genomics analysis revealed that those events happened before the divergence of the cereals family and followed on the heels of the whole-genome duplication.
