Format of input data

The format of data is shown in file QTLYield.txt in the sample folder.

For a fully filled data file the first three columns should be environment, block, and genotype. These three column should be set in order. And the following columns are traits data. The last column should be semicolon(;). For environment column, the maximum number equals to the total of?environments; For block column, the maximum number identifies the sum of blocks in an environment. Both of environment and block columns could be absent. If the environment column is absent , the block column, which is set as the second column at a fully filled data file, will take the position as the first column. This regulation also applies to the genotype column, which will be set as the second column if either environment or block column is absent, and set as the first column if neither of environment and block columns are absent.
With the help of electronic table software ,it is easy to build data obey the regulation.
1.Create an empty table.
2.Sequentially, set the title row with environment, block, genotype,?traits columns and semicolon in?the end.
2.Fill each column in the table with corresponding values according to your data.
3.Drop all empty columns.
You can get the valid input file in this way.

This is Coefficient-setting Box of QTLData, which will pop out automatically when you selected QTLData menu.

1.        Have Environment Effect

If there environment field in the raw data, select Yes else select No.

2.        Have Block Effect

If there block field in the raw data, select Yes else select No.

3.        Ge Var

If select this option, the program will estimate genotypic effect and GE interaction effect. The results will automatically save as filename.pre(filename is the name of input file).

4.        Condition Step

If select this option, the program will construct conditional data (t|t-1) from the observed traits. If the option is not been chosen, the step option will not be enable. The result file will automatically save as filename.cos.

5.        Condition Final

If this option, the program will construct conditional data (f|t) from the observed traits. The results file will automatically save as filename.cof.

6.        Run

Run the data with selected model and model.

7.        Cancel

Leave the Coefficient-setting Box, and do nothing.
